Email customers when a product is back in stock
Customers leave their email on a sold-out product and get one email when it’s back. Free, with no setup.
Joinery Back-in-Stock Alerts is free and doesn’t need Joinery Core or a licence. It’s in review at WordPress.org; once approved, install it from Plugins → Add New Plugin by searching for Joinery Back-in-Stock Alerts.

Activate it
Every out-of-stock product now shows “Out of stock. Want an email when it’s back?” with an email field. For variable products, customers choose the option they want first.

See what customers are waiting for
Go to WooCommerce → Stock alerts. Products are listed with how many people are waiting, most wanted first, so you know what to restock.

Restock
Put the product back in stock as you normally would: by hand, by import, or when a refund returns stock. Everyone waiting gets one email in your WooCommerce email design, with a link to the product, and the count goes back to zero.
- Emails go out in the background, 50 at a time, so a popular product never slows your shop down.
- Products on backorder don’t show the form: customers can already order them.
- Each request is deleted 30 days after its email, and every email has a link to delete it sooner.
