From purchase to your first discount in the cart: download, install, add your licence key, create a rule.
You need a WordPress site with WooCommerce, and permission to install plugins (an administrator account). That’s all. Every step happens in your browser.

Download your plugin
Sign in to your Joinery account with the email you bought with; we send you a sign-in link, so there’s no password. On Licences & downloads, click .zip next to the plugin. Keep the file as it is: don’t unzip it.

Upload it to WordPress
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. Choose the .zip file, click Install Now, then Activate. WordPress also offers to install Joinery Core, the free foundation every Joinery plugin uses: click Install and activate it too.

Add your licence key
Go to Joinery → Plugins & licence. Copy your key from your account (or your purchase email), paste it into Licence key and click Activate. Updates now arrive in Dashboard → Updates like any other plugin.

Create your first rule
Go to Joinery → Rules and click Add rule. Give it a name, choose when it applies (for example, Product category is Hardware) and what it does (for example, Tiered price by quantity). Click Save rule.

Check it in your shop
Open your shop in a private window and add products that match the rule to the cart. The cart shows the new price and how much the customer saves.
Tip: Staging, development and local copies of your site don’t count toward your licence’s site limit. Test there first if you like.
