Install and update plugins
Upload a plugin, what Joinery Core is for, and how updates arrive.

Download the .zip
In your Joinery account, on Licences & downloads, click .zip next to the plugin.

Upload and activate
In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the file, click Install Now and then Activate.
Joinery Core
Every Joinery plugin builds on Joinery Core, a free plugin from WordPress.org. It holds the rules screen and does the price calculations, which is why Joinery plugins never fight over a price. WordPress installs it for you; if it doesn’t, search for “Joinery Core” in Plugins → Add New Plugin.
Updates
Once your licence key is active, updates appear in Dashboard → Updates and on the Plugins screen, and you update with one click, the same as plugins from WordPress.org. Click View version … details to see what’s new first. You can also turn on automatic updates on the Plugins screen.
“Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin” means WordPress knows about the update but can’t download it with your licence. The line after it says why and links to the fix: add your key under Joinery → Plugins & licence, renew an expired licence, or add the plugin to your licence in your account.
