Set up trade tiers and prices

   Open the tiers

   Go to WooCommerce → Trade accounts → Tiers. There’s a Wholesale tier to start with; edit it or add your own, such as Silver and Gold.

   Add or edit a tier

   Give it a Name and a Discount: the percentage off every product’s regular price for these customers. Leave the other settings for now (minimum orders, tax and invoices have their own guides) and click Add tier or Save tier.

   Set trade prices on products (optional)

   For a product that needs its own trade price, open it and look under Product data → General: each tier has a price field, such as “Gold price”. Variable products have them under each variation. An empty field means the tier’s discount applies.

   Check as a trade customer

   Trade customers see their price everywhere in the shop: the regular price crossed out, their price, and “Trade price” next to it. Everyone else sees your normal prices.

How trade prices work with everything else

• A product’s own trade price wins over the tier’s discount.
• If a product is on sale for less than the trade price, trade customers get the sale price.
• Your Joinery rules apply on top of trade prices: a 10% bulk discount takes 10% off the trade price.
• Each tier is a user role, so any rule can be just for it: add the Trade tier condition (or Customer role).
• Gift cards are always sold at face value.
