Give bonus points with a rule

   Add a rule

   Go to Joinery → Rules and click Add rule. Name it so your team recognises it, such as “Double points on hardware”. Customers see the name in their points history.

   Choose which orders earn it

   Under When all of these are true, add conditions as for any rule: a Date range for December, Customer’s orders for a first order, or a Product category (it counts if any product in the order is in it).

   Set the bonus

   Under Then do this, choose Give bonus points. Enter a fixed number of Bonus points, extra points for each $1 spent, or both. 1 extra point for each $1 doubles points at a standard rate of 1.

   Choose when

   Under Give them, choose When the order is completed or When the order is paid, then click Save rule.

Bonus points arrive in the background once the order reaches that point, usually within a minute, and only once per order and rule. If the order is cancelled or refunded in full, they’re taken back.
