Conditional options and add-on prices
Show an option only when it applies, and how extras are priced in the cart.
Show an option only when it applies
Open the option and, under Show this option, choose Only when … and pick an option above it. Then choose the condition: is or is not (a particular choice or answer), has an answer / is ticked, or is empty / isn’t ticked. For example, show “Engraving” only when “Add engraving” is ticked.
- An option can only depend on options above it. Hiding an option also hides anything that depends on it.
- Hidden options are never required, never charged and never saved, even if a customer filled them in before hiding them.
- Your shop checks the conditions again when the product is added to the cart, so they can’t be bypassed.
How extras are priced

| Per unit entered | The amount times the number the customer enters. | Extra length: €0.25 per cm |
Extras become part of the item’s price, so your Joinery rules apply to them too: a 10% bulk discount takes 10% off the product and its extras. With B2B & Wholesale, a trade tier’s discount comes off fixed extras as well. The cart lists every choice under the product.
